Terms of Service

The service

Loopback is a task management app with an AI assistant called Prism. You can create threads, set reminders, attach media, and optionally use Prism to help you organize and plan. The core app works without AI — you can decline data sharing or use guest mode and still create and manage threads.

Your account

You can sign in with Google or Apple, or use the app as a guest. You are responsible for maintaining access to your sign-in method. If you sign in, your data syncs across devices. Guest data stays on the device only.

AI features

Prism is powered by Anthropic’s Claude. When you use Prism:

• Your thread data and messages are sent to Anthropic to generate responses.
• AI responses are generated, not verified. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Do not rely on Prism for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
• You can revoke AI data sharing at any time in Settings.
• Your use of Prism is subject to Anthropic’s Acceptable Use Policy.

Your content

You own what you create in Loopback. We don’t claim rights over your threads, messages, or media. We access your content only to provide the service (syncing, AI features you’ve opted into, and notifications you’ve configured).

Acceptable use

Don’t use Loopback to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or abuse the AI assistant
• Interfere with the service or other users
• Reverse-engineer the app or its server infrastructure
• Use the service to harm, harass, or defraud others

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

Third-party services

Loopback integrates with third-party services that have their own terms:

• Anthropic — AI responses
• OpenAI — voice transcription
• Google — Calendar and Gmail integration

Availability

We aim to keep Loopback available but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. AI features depend on third-party APIs that may be temporarily unavailable. Core thread management works offline.

Disclaimers

Loopback is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. AI-generated content is not professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, omniping llc is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Loopback, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or reliance on AI-generated content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll notify you of material changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated terms, stop using the app.
